Requesting a refund
Contact the event organizer or support@cornerpass.com. Include the event name, event date, safe order reference, and a short reason. Do not send card details, access links, or QR values.
A request does not guarantee approval. CornerPass support cannot promise eligibility, timing, or an outcome before the authorized organizer reviews the order and current transaction state.
Current supported refund behavior
- The supported operation is a full-order refund only.
- An authorized promotion owner must initiate the operation.
- The trusted connected-account payment is rechecked first.
- Repeated submission is protected against a second refund.
- A browser result or client-only mutation cannot authorize a refund. An authenticated promotion owner may initiate the protected server refund operation; managers, scanners, and unauthenticated users cannot initiate it.
- CornerPass does not automatically refund an unresolved order.
What happens after a completed refund
The full trusted order total is refunded through the connected payment account, and all tickets associated with that order are no longer valid for entry. CornerPass keeps the historical sales and refund record for audit/reconciliation.
Ticket inventory is not reopened automatically. That behavior is intentional and is not changed by this policy page.
Pending status and timing
A refund can be pending while the payment provider processes it. Provider and financial-institution timing varies. Do not submit a second refund request to speed up a pending operation; contact support so the existing operation can be reconciled safely.
What the current flow does not support
- Partial-order or individual-ticket refunds.
- Automatic refunds based on a browser result or support message.
- Manager/scanner refund authority.
- Automatic inventory reopening after refund.
- A promise that every event or request is refundable.
If your situation requires a policy decision outside this behavior, contact the event organizer and CornerPass support.
